Title: Database Administrator
Location: Baltimore / Columbia Maryland
Duration: 12+months
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the US

Job Description:

• Database Administration support for multiple databases with an Enterprise UC/CC solution
• Analyze customer requirements
• Engineering, test, and document databases to support applications developed for telecommunications and other applications in a SIP environment
• Provide application, system software, and OS life cycle support in both Linux and Windows including installation, upgrade, maintenance, and troubleshooting

EXPERIENCE

• 7+ years' experience engineering, maintaining, and administering Oracle and or Microsoft SQL Server databases
• VOIP/SIP experience in a large Enterprise environment

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Excellent communications skills
• Java environment knowledge/experience
• Experience with Eclipse IDE and the Tomcat web servers
• Experience with Hibernate, JDBC and SQL interfacing Oracle or MySQL
• Experience with Nuance Speech Recognition and Text-to-Speech
• Experience with Linux scripting and system administration
• Understanding of voice and data technologies as applied in an enterprise call center environment

Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
