The Role
As a Database Consulting Specialist, you will guide nonprofits in the best practice use of their CRM and support them as they strategically work towards their fundraising goals.
What You Will Do
- Using your product and nonprofit knowledge to execute consulting tasks in a timely manner with high accuracy.
- Guiding a full portfolio of nonprofits as they engage in utilizing their CRM to think strategically about fundraising and database management.
- Taking an active role in mentoring the team in the development of the overall consulting curriculum, webinars, or one-to-many sessions on all consulting topics.
- Strategically working with your portfolio of nonprofits on their fundraising goals by recommending options to assess their knowledge gaps and potential learning paths.
- Maintaining high satisfaction ratings from the nonprofits in your portfolio.
- Working with Customer Success to nurture a high retention percentage of the nonprofits in your portfolio.
- Staying up-to-date on the latest for the Bloomerang CRM product.
- Responding to team and client communications in a timely manner.
- Managing and maintaining a variety of software tools that interact with your calendar, email, and our CRM systems.
- Maintaining a weekly billable hour percentage at 60% of your 40-hour work week.
- Mentoring new staff, as assigned by the Manager.
- Setting and achieving professional development goals, including possible additional certification in the area of consulting or nonprofit skills.
What You Need to Succeed
- Nonprofit and Fundraising Experience and Knowledge or related degrees and certifications.
- Strong mastery of the Bloomerang software.
- High standard for customer service and proven consistent positive customer service delivery.
- Excellent communication with a strong ability to troubleshoot
- Ability to apply the Bloomerang software creatively and effectively across multiple organizational structures
- Ability to adapt your training approach to multiple learning styles
- Completion of the 8 week Fundraising Standard course is highly recommended

Compensation
The salary range for this position is: $66,500 - $89,500. You may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, as well as applicable employment laws.
Location
This is a permanent, full-time, fully remote position. Employees living in Indianapolis, IN are welcome to work from our company headquarters. We do not offer Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance at this time.
