Job Summary

We are currently looking for mechanics to join our team to perform work on dump trucks, tractors, and trailers.

Responsibilities and Duties

As a Truck & Trailer Mechanic you will be expected to perform the following duties:

• Must be punctual and reliable.
• Must own your own tools.
• Perform maintenance tasks based on driver pre and post trip inspections in a timely manner or as directed by the Maintenance Manager
• Make adjustments to brakes, clutches, and other utilities that are part of the vehicle or other equipment
• Must have experience in engine diagnostic, ac repair, and general tractor maintenance.
• Make adjustments to hydraulic pressures and other hydraulic components of any equipment
• Perform tire changes and repairs
• Perform all job duties in accordance with company safety policies and regulations

Education, Experience & Certifications: * Truck and Trailer Mechanic: 1 year (Required) 3 years (recommended)

• Clean class A, B or C Drivers License

Qualifications & Skills: * Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.

• Capable of major component repair and rebuilding
• Capable in the use of diagnostic tools
• Complete understanding of mechanical systems
• Complete understanding of hydraulic systems
• Complete understanding of electrical systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour

• Apalachin, NY 13732: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
• Diesel engine repair: 2 years (Preferred)
