Duties of a dental assistant include:

Greeting, seating, and dismissing patients

Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during dental examinations and treatment

Takes digital X-rays, PANOS, and scans

Sterilize and maintain instruments according to regulations

Set up and breakdown operatories

Maintain a clean and professional office environment

Maintain a high level of customer service at all times

Educate patients in oral health
