Job Title: Deployment Services Solutions Architect

Job Description:

Converge Technology Solutions is looking for a Deployment Services Solutions Architect. This is a technical sales support role for our Account Management team. Your ability to clearly articulate structure cabling, deployment services, multi-site rollouts and physical security solutions to our existing customer base and prospects is essential.

Your involvement in our opportunities will start with the initial customer meeting and continue through the design phases of the solution. You must be a self-starter, require minimal supervision, and possess strong technical and design knowledge of structured cabling, deployment of network and infrastructure technology and physical security solutions. This position requires excellent communications skills (written and verbal), as well as the ability to work as part of a team.

Job Qualifications:

• 5+ years of structured cabling and deployment services solution design, estimation and delivery experience, with industry knowledge of associated best practices and technology.
• Must be able to quickly learn several products across a wide range of network and infrastructure technologies
• Strong working knowledge of cabling and infrastructure products. Preferred solutions could include technologies from Corning, Panduit, Commscope, Leviton, Berk-tek, Verkada, Cisco, and HP.
• Experience with physical security solutions including cameras, access control and alarm.
• Experience with solutioning large scale and multi-site technology roll outs.
• Strong knowledge of wireless networking, assessments and design. Experience with tools such as Ekahau preferred.
• Some pre-sales experience
• 4-year college degree or equivalent project and career experience
• Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) preferred
