We are looking for a Deposit Operations member to join our growing team. The successful candidate will perform a wide variety of duties in the Deposit Operations department. In this position, you will perform various daily tasks related to the operations of the Bank as well as handle functions that have a regulatory, monetary, and potential reputational risk impact. Job responsibilities are time sensitive and must be adhered to in accordance with Bank policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Electronic payment processing/exception item processing including but not limited to online banking, wires and ACH.
- Assist with consumer and business online banking access, i.e., password resets, new user set up, multifactor authentication, and monthly service charges.
- Assist online customers with bill payment inquiries, ACH and wire originations, Web connect functionality, stop payment requests, etc.
- Provide excellent service via telephone to external and internal customers.
- Recognize problems that could have a regulatory or customer impact and escalate to department manager.
- Subject matter expert and resource to the department and other divisions of the Bank.
- Advise manager of monetary risk related problems that may have an impact upon a customer or the Bank.
- Keep abreast of industry changes that may improve job function.
- Create reports as needed.
- Cross train in all functions within the Deposit Operations department.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- 3-5 years of Deposit Operations experience
- Comprehension of Deposit Operations and banking compliance
- Excellent communication and time management skills with ability to meet deadlines regularly
- Ability to work independently
- General mathematical, analytical and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work closely in a small team environment
- Other duties as assigned
