Location: East Hanover, New Jersey

The position’s primary focus is to support all aspects of donor engagement, stewardship, solicitation, event planning, and database management, including the production of multimedia content.

Responsibilities include
Produce email, video, and social content for donor solicitation and engagement.
Manage portfolio of annual donors using Gravyty.
Assist with Stroll ‘N Roll and other fundraising events.
Provide on-site staffing for donor tours and other meetings, including catering, set-up, A/V, and break-down.
Format briefings and proposals with graphics and photos for major donor stewardship, cultivation, and solicitation.
Add merchandise to online store, ensuring that new items are available at least annually.
Handwrite personalized notes to donors and potential donors on behalf of Chief Development Officer and others.
Provide administrative and clerical support, including proofreading, mailing, scanning, photocopying, and filing.
Maintain inventory of Kessler Foundation branded displays and fulfills staff members’ requests for materials.
Qualifications
Experience in fundraising, marketing, customer service, or equivalent.
Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
Strong art direction and proofreading skills.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Excellent penmanship.
Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities and produce high-quality work on deadline.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

In addition, the following qualifications are preferred:

One or more years of experience in fundraising, marketing, customer service, or equivalent.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud and Raiser’s Edge.
