Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US, is looking to hire a skilled Diesel Technician! The Diesel Mechanic/Technician will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and inspection

Compensation: Pay: $35 - $43 per hour depending on experience. Competitive Hourly Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday!

Hiring for 2 Shifts:

1st Shift: Monday - Friday 5am - 1:30pm

2nd Shift: Tuesday - Saturday 1pm - 9:30pm

What the Diesel Technician role looks like:

· Prepare vehicle records and report both manually and on a computer

· Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to vehicles

· Inspect and perform work on the under parts of vehicles

· Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance

· Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare required safety documentation

What our ideal candidate looks like:

· Must have at least 2 years’ experience as a Diesel Technician performing vehicle repair and maintenance.

· Experience with DOT inspections required, health card preferred

· CNG experience and B CDL also preferred

· Strong in diagnostics, after treatment, & ERG Systems

· Must have prior work experience with Volvo, Cummins, Detroits

· Excellent communication skills and proficient computer skills

· Must have own tools

· Must have valid driver's license
