Time to take your nursing career to the next level! Cross Country Search is looking to hire a RN Director for the Emergency Department with a partnering health system in OKC. The RN Director will be responsible for all things concerning the department, including but not limited to: developing and implementing of policies & procedures, planning, and strategic coordination. Essential Responsibilities:

• Provides strategic direction for urgent and emergent care of critically-ill and/or -injured patients in an urban
• Provides strong and effective communication, leadership, motivation, and professional development for managers and staff
• Developing short and long-term financial goals for growth, and accountability of annual and long-term budget planning, etc.
• Prepares business proposals to improved capacity, capability, efficiency, and quality of services
• Establishes and supports programs addressing verification needs
• Primarily responsible for Emergency Department clinical care, documentation, and education requirements
• Plans develops, recommends, and implements policies, procedures and standards for Emergency Services through evidence-based decision-making, and ensures ENA Emergency Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice are adhered and maintained
• Addresses complaints regarding Emergency Services through personal contact with patients, families, physicians, and employees for resolution
• Establishes, maintains, and facilitates effective partnerships with physicians, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective coordination and communication among inter- and intra- departmental personnel and activities

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing with a BSN; Master’s level education required
• Five (5)+ years of experience in nursing management within a large hospital setting
