Director, Learning and Talent Management (Hybrid)
Department: Human Resources
Status: Regular/Full-Time/Exempt
Supervisor: Senior Director, Learning and Development
The Director, Learning and Talent Management will co-lead (in collaboration with the Sr. Director) the design and implementation of high-impact and sustainable learning programs and talent processes that support the organization’s capabilities to meet strategic and operational goals through the development of its employees.
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Talent Management
  • Drive the development and execution of all talent processes including talent reviews, succession planning, performance calibrations, Individual Development Plans (IDP), and leadership programs
  • Assist with the development of learning strategies, training, and collateral materials that address the needs of the organization
  • Develop and implement measurement strategies to track and assess the impact and completion of talent processes (e.g., talent reviews)
  • Manage external vendor relationships to scale key deliverables; and provide direction and feedback for learning and talent processes
  • Drive the redesign and roll-out of the new performance management process
  • Develop and communicate metrics via a quarterly Talent Management Dashboard
  • Support ad hoc programs and projects as needed
Learning and Development
  • Conduct needs assessments to recommend organizational learning and development solutions
  • Work collaboratively with HRBPs and business leaders to ensure the success of learning & development programs
  • Source training solutions and vendors for key learning deliverables
  • Create communication and marketing plans to drive participation in learning programs
  • Coordinate training logistics (e.g., location, room layout, etc.) for an optimal learning experience
  • Analyze and assess learning programs for maximum learning effectiveness
  • Manage and drive the learning partnerships such as LinkedIn Learning (Learning Paths), Navex (Annual Compliance Training), Mango, American Management Association, and other key partnerships
  • Drive the completion of mandated training programs in Navex
  • Present/facilitate training and L&D content to employees on a variety of HR topics
  • Develop engaging presentations and reports in a visually appealing format utilizing PowerPoint and Excel
  • Drive the roll-out of organizational competencies and PBS core values
  • Perform related duties as assigned
Requirements for success:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience; Master’s preferred
  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in Talent Management, Human Resources, or related field
  • Excellent presentation/training delivery required
  • Instructional Design Experience is a plus
  • Technologically savvy; with comfort learning independently and using new technologies
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced dynamic environment and interact with employees at all levels
  • Ability to handle confidential matters tactfully
  • Accurately applies professional technical knowledge, skills, expertise, and judgment to achieve excellent customer service; demonstrates a strong customer-service orientation in all interactions
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Works independently, makes sound decisions, and exercises good judgment
  • Communicates effectively and proactively the status of projects to include barriers and possible solutions
  • Performs all work in a detailed manner
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Experience in stakeholder management and working with external vendors
  • Strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, & Excel)
  • Excellent multi-tasking, organization, and time-management skillset
  • Must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination by date of hire to be considered. Proof of vaccination required.
