Who are we hiring?
The Director, Sales is primarily responsible for supporting and selling sponsorships, fulfillment, and partner relationship management for Counter Logic Gaming (CLG). This person will assist in critical business development tasks, such as prospecting and identifying potential team partners, building and preparing presentation decks, maintaining tracking of inventory, and managing the contracting process. The role will work across departments and entities to gain approvals for activations & partner campaigns, and will work with CLG Account Manager to produce end of year recaps. The Director, Sales will also oversee the Sponsorship Fulfillment Budget in conjunction with the Director of Finance and Manager of Business Solutions, which includes the payment of vendor invoices. Throughout the year, he/she will work with the Marketing, Social, Content, and PR teams to maximize value and impressions for partners. This person will work closely with Marketing/Social/Digital teams to ensure that all design-related tasks are well thought out and timely completed. This person will be fully empowered to sell sponsorships and is expected to be engaged in sales activity when sales support tasks are completed.

What will you do?
- Generate partnership sales for CLG through active outbound sales process
- Support business development efforts and deal making process, which includes building all proposals and presentation decks in conjunction with Business Solutions
- Lead partner/prospect entertainment and relationship management
- Manage day-to-day expense budget for sales
- Identifying assets to be sold to prospective partners
- Proposing activation concepts that are not included on the CLG rate card
- Making or accepting prospect counteroffers
- All purchasing that is related to sponsor fulfillment
What do you need to succeed?
- Bachelor Degree
- 3-5 years’ sales experience in Esports, Gaming, or related industry.
- Extensive knowledge of the marketing and advertising industries with a particular focus on Esports and Gaming.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong sales/closing skills
- Ability to develop strong relationships internally and externally
