Provide oversight of operational departments to include rooms and food & beverage.
- Oversees development of new programs that result in an increased level of guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
- Responds to guest complaints in a timely manner.
- Ensure that daily inventory is managed to maximize all potential room revenue and ensure that budgeted room revenues are met.
- Generate an atmosphere that provides security and safety for all internal and external guests.
- Establish and maintain cost control systems for all rooms-related and food & beverage inventories.
- Participate in the development of short term and long term financial and operational plans for the hotel.
- Must possess strong and inspiring leadership skills.
- Ability and willingness to step into any role to ensure the success of the hotel operation.
- Proven track record of hotel management success.
- Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
- Thorough knowledge of hotel operations practices and procedures as well as considerable knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations.
