Director of Perioperative Quality and Safety
- Full-Time / Permanent Position
- 100% administrative
- Supports perioperative services
- 50+ ORs / 800 RNs & Surg Techs

- Hospital located in Nashville, TN
- Create and implement quality improvement, education, and patient safety initiatives
- Ensure accreditation and licensure
- Establish a quality and patient safety program that promotes continual improvement
- Educate staff on perioperative patient safety events and continuous quality improvement activities
- Oversee hospital operations related to performance improvement, infection control, risk management, etc. in collaboration with other hospital leaders
- Maintain processes for hospital survey readiness
- Prepare monthly summary reports and analysis for leadership
- Develop department budget
- Act as consultant for quality improvement and patient safety
- Assist in the development of a common outcomes measurement and reporting system
- Identify and monitor patient outcomes and effectiveness of process changes
- Manage quality committee
- Lead quality improvement efforts towards Magnet indicators, nursing pillar goals, scorecards, and emergency preparedness
- Active state of Tennessee RN License or the ability to obtain prior to hire.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
- Master's Degree required
- 3 years of perioperative exposure
- 7 years of quality, regulatory, patient safety or leadership experience
