Carefree Living is a division of Spectrum Health Companies - a Minnesota-based, statewide, community health care provider of Assisted Living, Memory Care, Home Care and Independent Living services.

SCHEDULE: Full-time, primarily Monday - Friday, day-shift hours with additional hours based on community and client needs. Position includes an on call rotation.

SALARY: Depends on experience.

DUTIES:

• Selected candidate will provide direct nursing services to clients and through the coordination of all disciplines involved in client care, as assigned by the Manager.
• Responsible for resident outcomes, ensuring appropriate care, assessment of resident needs and modifying the care plan as needed.
• Selected candidate will communicate effectively with resident/family, physicians, and other disciplines regarding plan of care.
• Assist each resident to reach and maintain his or her highest level of performance and independence.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota.
• Bachelor's of Science in Nursing and Public Health certification preferred.
• Minimum 10 years nursing experience, preferably in home health care or assisted living facility.
• Prior supervisory/management experience, previous experience in teaching/training others, and conflict management training preferred.
• Candidates will be subject to a criminal background study and must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
