The Director of Quality is globally responsible (US, UK, Europe and other regions) for strategic planning, directing, and overseeing the operations and fiscal health of the Quality Department.

Key Responsibilities
Departmental Responsibilities:
Establish and lead a first-class Quality Center of Excellence that will scale as the company and business grows.
Partner with Product Management, Development, Implementation and Support teams to prioritize, scope and plan releases.
Define and implement quality assurance (QA) practices and processes to ensure consistency and resilience.
Direct the development of the QA strategy, methodology, discipline & framework. Drive and improve the QA team in areas of automated, agile, and other areas of testing.
Oversee simultaneous Agile Product Development projects through the full lifecycle.
Drive initiatives to improve testing at all levels.
Develop and implement automated and manual test strategies across multiple platforms such as native mobile, web, APIs, and data pipelines.
Create a shared vision of Quality and maintain strong cross-functional alignment.
Drive adoption of best practices in code health, testing, and maintainability.
Lead all aspects of budgeting and reporting associated with the Quality organization.
Ensure adherence to the principles, guidelines, and best practices of the QA strategy.
Drive continuous QA improvements including usage of appropriate testing tools, test techniques and test automation.
Execute QA strategies to meet and exceed department and corporate quality goals.
Develop, implement, and ensure adherence of quality standards as well as enforcing technical testing standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Monitor all QA activities, test results, leaked defects, root cause analysis and identify areas of improvement.
Ensure the proper usage of available tools to gain the maximum benefit of the QA effort. This includes testing tools for Functional, Performance, Automation, Data testing, etc.
Be an escalation point for all matters related to testing and quality assurance and operate as a primary point of contact for the QA teams.
Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned
Present quality strategy to clients and prospects
Provide quality input for RFP, RFI and other forms from clients and prospects
Facilitate quality specific meetings with clients as appropriate.

Key Requirements
Minimum and essential qualifications, experience and technical expertise required to complete role:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
15 plus years of leadership and experience of the function, operation, and mission of a similar Quality department in the software industry.
Agile certified or 10 plus years actively managing agile process required
Experience leading large-scale teams (50 or more), across an organization.
QA management experience across multiple projects, geographies, and partners.
Demonstrated ability to build, manage and inspire teams across a matrixed environment.
Demonstrated ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to the organization's senior management team that provides leadership and direction.
Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate and sell a vision.
Outstanding interpersonal relationship building, employee coaching and development skills.
Excellent organizational management skills.
Strong knowledge and background in Software Testing, Automation frameworks, Tools, and Practices.
Self-starter with the ability to rapidly grasp and apply complex project management process and KPIs
Must have experience establishing or enhancing a quality program in a consultative fashion to manage change and instill discipline without abrupt interference with ongoing initiatives.
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr Scale, Selenium, Git is preferred.
Validation experience is not required, but experience is beneficial.
