Are you looking to take your career to the next level? We are currently seeking a Director of Rehab with experience in the skilled rehab and long-term care setting to join our team at Aventura at the Bay located in St. Petersburg, FL!

With 274-beds dedicated to short-term rehabilitation, dementia care, and long-term care, Aventura at the Bay, formerly Bon Secours Maria Manor is one of the largest skilled nursing facilities in the Tampa Bay area. The building has 32-beds dedicated to short-term rehabilitation, a full-size geri-therapy gym, and expansive living space both indoors and out.

The ideal candidate would have experience with long term care patient need identification, caseload development, and have a passion to serve the geriatric population. This is a treating position and applicants should have an active Florida State license in their therapy discipline.

The Rehab Director position would be responsible for:

• Leadership of the therapy department
• Interviewing and hiring therapists for open positions
• Screening and managing processes for patient therapy need identification
• Clinical program development and management
• Patient treatment
• Candidates should be proficient in the use of email and Microsoft Office.

Requirements:

• Must hold an active FL State PT(A), OT(A) or SLP license
• 2-3 years long term care experience required
• 1-2 years of previous management experience preferred
