As the Director of Rehab Services, you are responsible for establishing and promoting the growth and excellence of the Department of Rehab Services, the Wound Care/Hyperbaric Medicine Dept., and the Restorative Program unit by ensuring clinical excellence, operating efficiency and financial strength. This includes leadership in developing a strong rehab team and partnership with Medical Director and medical staff to ensure the clinical excellence and operational performance of the rehabilitation unit. The Director of Rehab Services is also responsible for designing, developing and implementing a strategic plan to ensure the success of the departments clinical, financial and overall operating performance and successful growth.

What You Will Do In This Role:

  • You will provide day-to-day leadership within the organization, including advice, guidance, direction and authorization to achieve the clinical and financial goals and objectives of the organization.
  • You will coordinate and integrates the rehabilitation, inpatient rehab unit, and restorative services within the hospital and community.
  • You are responsible for community, interdepartmental and intradepartmental integration of departmental patient-care services. The Director is responsible for the operation of the departments to include management and coordination of human resources, clinical activities, fiscal management, and quality patient care.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

  • Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy, or a Master of Science or Master of Arts in Speech/Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Master’s Degree in healthcare administration or business administration preferred.
  • Minimum of five years healthcare management experience, rehabilitation program experience preferred
  • Current state licensure in clinical field
  • Licensed as a Therapist in the State of Texas
  • Current CPR certification
