Supervise and coordinate the movement of products between the loading points and the customer's facility in the safest, prompt, and efficient manner possible

Our Dispatchers must be aware that their actions, words, demeanor, and attitude directly impact the performance of each driver, their safety, and ultimately their retention. Always keeping in mind that our partner customers are the reason for our success.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Answer incoming phone calls from customers, company drivers, and owner-operators and prioritize tasks; accordingly, enter information into the proprietary software system.
Assign and dispatch delivery jobs.
Monitor online dispatch board for potential issues of delayed service.
Monitor current job route reassignments as necessary in case of breakdowns or service interruptions.
Monitor status of time-sensitive deliveries/pickups to ensure timely delivery to customers.
Assist with dispatch team requests related to dispatch and route completion.
Handle customer concerns expeditiously and professionally; escalate unresolved issues to management as appropriate.
Perform day-to-day administrative tasks, i.e., email, electronic file management, etc.
Ensure policies and procedures as defined by our company are consistently followed.
Perform other dispatch duties when necessary, or as assigned.

Effectively communicate verbally, and in writing, at all levels of the organization.
Proficient computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and database programs.
Able to workday shift Monday - Friday
Able to work overtime

Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
