Mack's Moving Company in Green Island, NY is seeking a potential Dispatcher for our growing organization! We have a track record for proven success. So the person we are looking for would need to have an office setting mindset, be on point with details and be willing to manage the flow of operations including crew, Inventory management, & Office management. "Moving industry" experience would be helpful. This is primary an office position so we are looking for someone that can think outside the box and make things happen with limited supervision.

Job Responsibilities:

Dispatcher will mainly be in the office and only out in the field to ensure quality control.

Dispatch will assist with the training and coaching new hires and current staff on the skills and technique of the job.

Dispatch will Dispatch Drivers & Movers Out on Jobs Throughout the Day

Dispatch will Check with Crews Throughout the Day and Check Status of Jobs

Dispatch will Go On-site to Jobs as needed to Help in Any Way Possible

Dispatch will Prepare and Assign Crew Members to the Scheduled Jobs Each Day

Dispatch will Review & Confirm Job Notes

Dispatch will Safely Drive Box Trucks (26ft) to/from Job Sites as Needed

Dispatch will Manage Inventory

Dispatch will Follow All Company Processes and Systems in Order to Execute the Job

Additional Info:

· Compensation is up to $700/week not including bonuses and extra compensation for move jobs performed.

· Paid for travel from and to job sites

· Bonus Compensation available as well, bonus is tied into 1. # of satisfied customers

· Hours would be approximately 30 hrs/week in office and on call to clock crews out for the day.

Requirements: Must have the following to be considered ...

Must have a valid Driver license and a Clean Driving record maintained 3points or less on license.

Must have a great understanding of computers.

Must have a reliable vehicle.

Must have 1 yr. or more in managing. Moving field preferred but not a must

Must be able to lift 75lbs or more.

Must be able to work flexible shift and in the operation manager absence fill in.

Must feet Financial quotas for the yr.

Must have computer skills

Attentive to details and making sure inventory count is correct all the time

Lastly must be driven.

Candidate will not only be limited to the above requirements.
