Shift: 1st: 07:00am-3:30pm (Mon-Fri)

Job Summary:
Assists Material Handlers on all aspects of receipt, handling, storage and documentation for raw materials, components, supplies and finished products as well as operate material handling equipment including fork trucks, pallet jacks, etc. Must be a subject matter expert in all Materials Management operations and associated SAP modules.

Role and Responsibilities

• Proactively engage in the Safety Culture of the company, Individuals that do/will not comply will be immediately reprimanded and/or terminated.
• Assist Material Handlers on all aspects of receipt, handling, storage and documentation for raw materials, components, supplies and finished products as well as operate material handling equipment including fork trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
• Responsible for driving the company vehicle to transport general supplies, raw materials, finished goods, and personnel between Bensalem and Philadelphia sites.
• Responsible for warehouse cleaning duties including but not limited to: sweeping the warehouse and bulk storage, mopping, general cleaning and dusting of warehouse walls, door panels, etc. and transport trash to disposal areas
• This person will also be responsible for following the warehouse cleaning SOP and documenting cleaning in the warehouse cleaning log Maintain required technical training on SOPs and certifications (I.E.. cGMP, HAZMAT, forklift training, etc.)
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance
• The employee must occasionally lift and/ or move up to 50 pounds
• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme cold including working in a minus 25 degree freezer.
• The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/ or humid conditions; high, precarious places and fumes or airborne particles - the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Warehouse and shipping experience
• Must have GMP Experience
• Shipping /Receiving Experience
• Ability to obtain DOT Medical Examiner's certificate
• Must have the ability to work shifts and overtime as required
• Proactive, strong attention to detail, self motivated, self starter

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• SAP knowledge and experience
• Work experience in biologics/pharmaceutical manufacturing under cGMP Education/Certification
• Fork Lift Certification
