Job description
The Document Control Specialist will support the Director of Quality Assurance in the development and maintenance of the quality system, technical documentation and training material required to support Cambria related processes directed to better customer service in claim management. This position will work closely with Customer Service Managers, FabShops, Marketing, and Operations in responding to consumer returns, including investigations, and developing responses to consumers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor, create, develop and maintain the master documents for Quality System, including but not limited to versions of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Marketing documents for requestors.
- Coordinate the document workflow for obtaining approvals of changes to Cambria documents.
- Monitor existing Quality Assurance reports to analyze trends using Tableau Dashboards.
- Create Quality Assurance reports as requested by internal customers.
- Provide electronic copies of requested quality documents to Technical Services, Marketing and Sales in a timely manner.
- Review all Quality Systems digital locations, such as Widen, The Business Partner Portal on The Cambria Exchange (TCE) for content accuracy.
- Coordinate the Technical Questions (TQ) activity with the Plant R&D as it pertains to the Approved Cleaners
- Coordinate the Quality Recognition program across the Fabshop operations proactively communicate with all internal customers on key quality issues
- May conduct quality assurance audits of Fabshop operations that support departments for compliance to SOP’s in internal quarterly and annual audits
- Actively participate in closing reports by working with applicable departments and verifying that corrective action was completed/ implemented as required
- Collaborate with the Plant QC and the Samples team to document acceptable aesthetics per SOP and business’s needs and provide reports on said activities.
- Perform product testing under the supervision of the Quality Assurance Director - FabShops
Qualifications & Skills:
- In-depth understanding of document control fundamentals.
- Aptitude to work in a subjective environment and deliver objective results using excellent business acumen
- Proficient math and computer skills: analytical
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Excellent attention-to-detail
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external parties
- Passionate, driven and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor
- Work well independently as well as within a team setting
- Capacity to influence and thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Skilled in working simultaneously to manage multiple projects
- Tableau experience is preferred
- Salesforce experience is preferred
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor of Science degree and/or 4 years’ equivalent quality compliance and technical writing experience
- Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in related manufacturing environment and document control
- Systems: Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Suite, High-Q, Tableau, Sales Force

- Managerial Responsibilities: None
- Travel Requirements: May travel to Cambria Fabrication Facilities in the US and Canada. Passport required. 20% overnight travel may be required
- Physical Requirements: This is an office position requiring phone and computer use.
