The Fleet Supervisor (FS) is responsible for the scheduling and supervising of Hometown Heart’s
driver fleet.

This role is focused on effective supervising of all drivers at Hometown Heart, meeting company demand, maintaining labor compliance, conducting necessary scheduling follow-up (tardiness, absences, etc).

This Supervisor works directly with drivers and is expected to providesupport as well as keep a thorough record of driver communication regarding any scheduling changes or needs.

This role also will compile and analyze needed statistics for attendance, punctuality, driver numbers, and availability for South SF locations. This role reports directly to the Driver Engagement Manager (DEM).

RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
● Create and maintain bi-weekly schedules
● Understand labor regulations for CA, San Francisco and schedule within those rules
● Organize, implement and maintain the scheduling management system
● Ensure consistent communication regarding scheduling changes or needs to driver fleet
● Maintain communication with DEM regarding scheduling changes or needs
● Track attendance, punctuality, and reasons for non-attendance
● Maintains accurate and timely timesheet approvals
● Maintain records on driver data (attendance, punctuality, shift fill)
● Use software to generate driver reports
● Recommend changes to shift configurations and staffing levels to improve driver satisfaction and
control driver costs
● Keep management updated on risks affecting schedule (if any)
● Conduct analysis to determine alternative courses of action or recovery on schedule changes
● Work with payroll to ensure appropriate employee settlement (when needed)

OTHER POSSIBLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Maintaining accurate internal communications
● Providing attendance reminders (to always include DEM in correspondence)
● Provide supporting evidence (if needed) for any disciplinary actions regarding scheduling issues;
○ I.e., attendance, no call/no shows, punctuality, etc.
● Coordinate and communicate driver issues with DEM & HR Team
● Work closely with DEM to fill any existing vacancy in an appropriate way (driver recruitment, driver
onboarding/training)
● Take on special projects as necessary or directed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour
