Job description

The Opportunity

Assemble, build, and modify a wide range of electrical/mechanical units. Responsible for performing a wide variety of tasks associated with the manufacture of electronic products. Ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product, circuit board assembly, wiring and soldering.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ assembly experience in the electronics industry or a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand assembly drawings, instructions and production lists and wire run lists required; the ability to read schematics a plus.
• Ability to install various through hole and mechanical assembly of parts to printed circuit board.
• Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and written) in English.
• Able to lift 50lbs on a regular basis.
• Must have good manual dexterity with small parts and hand tools.
• Good hand soldering skills of electronic components. IPC Certification a plus.
• Familiarity with the practice of safe work skills in a manufacturing environment.
• Physically able to perform repetitive motion and stand for periods of time.
