General Summary of the Position

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (following are accountabilities included but not limited to):

• Maintains an understanding of Jasper Ventures, constantly seeking to build relationships.
• Develops and implements strategies to deliver meaningful employee experiences within the organization.
• Works closely with Employee Engagement Manager, Hospitality Specialists, managers, and employees to develop and maintain unique employee experiences that help build culture.
• Coordinates and hosts employee events.
• Makes meaningful changes in areas that can create excellent employee experiences.
• Oversees the Employee Directed Giving committee and Employee Match Program.

Skills and Abilities:

• Good with people – positive, genuinely interested in people, patient with others, ability to be supportive and motivate, while having discernment
• Positive attitude and servant posture – able and willing to serve others and put their needs in front of their own
• Ability to handle confrontation well – doesn’t shy away from tough conversations, displays emotional intelligence, remains approachable

• Available and flexible – a generous spirit that understands connection moments with people aren’t always conveniently scheduled (i.e. urgent employee care needs, scheduling team events)
• Strong communication skills, including strong writing skills – both one-on-one and leading/teaching in small groups as well as communication with co-workers and community members

• Team player – able to work within a close team with healthy peer-to-peer accountability

Education, Training and Experience:

• Experience with computers and technology.
• Experience in leading prayer.
• Thorough awareness of Biblical Christian teaching and ability to communicate those truths so any audience can understand.
• Mature understanding of Christian worldview and the ability to articulate these principles to others.
• Comfort in discipling others and discussing biblical principles and truths.
• Experience with event planning.
• Experience leading devotions or Bible studies.

Work Context:

• Regularly works in the office but may be required to visit fabrication and assembly facilities and field locations as needed. At those facilities, must be able to work in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and other particles.
• Lunch meetings and events outside of normal working hours are required.
• After hours and weekends may be necessary on occasion for events, trips, or to meet deadlines.
• Travel to other company locations may be necessary.
