Job Title: Enrichment Coordinator/Marketing Designer

Summary

Founded in 2002, Beyond Basics is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to eradicate illiteracy, transforming the lives of students and creating stronger communities. Our one-on-one, multisensory tutoring program helps students achieve grade-level proficiency in reading in an average of six weeks. In addition to our structured literacy interventions, we cultivate curiosity and encourage a love of lifelong learning with fine arts activities that expand horizons.

The Enrichment Coordinator/Marketing Designer is a blended position that will support the broadening of the enrichment offerings as well as to support marketing activities by capturing images and videos of company activities taking place inside the schools.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Enrichment team and use internal systems (Apricot) to ensure consistency in the implementation of enrichment programs in the schools
• In partnership with the Enrichment Manager, work through the identification and implementation of opportunities and methods to improve the data collection and reporting process
• Produce weekly data reports and analytics to the Enrichment Manager
• Develop an understanding of original designs and templates of the enrichment program at Beyond Basics. Work with enrichment team to develop new graphic design elements to support the further development of the Art with the Masters curriculum
• Create templates and other elements to be used in original project concepts
• Conduct research on ?master? artists and other local artists to better shape and improve the curriculum
• Work with Marketing and Digital Assets to do the following:
  • Schedule, stage, and possibly shoot a consistent influx of high quality photos each semester
  • Shoot and edit video for a variety of mediums and audiences
  • Provide feedback on design
  • Collaborate on content for social media
• Demonstrate a team spirit that works together in harmony, helpfulness, and respect to one another and within all areas of the Beyond Basics organization
• Initiate support in assisting other departments as needed in the delivery of special projects
