Description:

This position provides comprehensive environmental, health and safety technical expertise and support for the Environmental Health and

Safety Manager for the development, implementation and administration of the environmental health and safety program to ensure all

applicable regulatory compliance and to foster a culture of safety within our organization. Performs all functions according to established

policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Must possess knowledge of environmental, occupational health and safety regulations as normally obtained through the completion of an associate degree in life science, occupational safety, environmental studies, industrial hygiene technologies or engineering
• 2 years of experience developing, administering and implementing environmental, health and safety programs, or, an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Must possess knowledge of applicable regulatory and accrediting agencies: College of American Pathologists (CAP); U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements; either U.S. EPA regulations and/or Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) regulations; OSHA Recordkeeping, Blood borne Pathogen, Hazard Communication and General Industry Safety Standards.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.

Available Schedule

• M-F 8a-5p
• Hybrid Schedule Available After training. 3 days in Office – 2 Remote
• Must be flexible to travel to Tucson – Mileage reimbursement
