Brandywine Living, a premier provider of quality senior living, is currently seeking an Environmental / Maintenance Assistant to join our team in Potomac, MD.

**Available Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday (8:00a.m. to 4:00p.m.)**

The Environmental / Maintenance Assistant will maintain the grounds, facility, equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by your supervisor, to assure that a successful maintenance program is maintained at all times.

• Perform maintenance tasks for residents
• Assist with in-house resident moves
• Assist with set-up and clean-up for special events.
• Perform routine building maintenance as directed (painting, floor care, pressure washing, fixture caulking, etc.)

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2 years’ experience in building maintenance with knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, various mechanical, electronic and plumbing systems preferred
• General carpentry skills, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, floor and rug care.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and Assisted Living experience helpful.
• Understanding of cleaning materials and general housekeeping methods to assure the quality of resident’s rooms.
