Job Overview:
APTIM Environmental & Infrastructure, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Staff Scientist/ Counsulting Scientist to work remote and manage the northern California area to participate in environmental compliance research. Primary responsibilities will include research of environmental regulations and preparation of permit applications and other project documents. Stormwater experience highly preferred.
This position can be remote in Northern California as the individual will need to travel and service this region.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Research of Federal, State, and Local regulatory codes.
- Prepare documents and applications for submittal to regulatory agencies.
- Work independently or as part of a project team.
- Time management to ensure a quality product is prepared to meet project deadlines.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, or related degree required
- 1-2 years of experience with environmental regulatory compliance, stormwater experience preferred
- Able to work remotely
- Must have strong written and oral communication skills
- Valid Driver's License
Desired/Preferred Qualifications:
- Current HAZWOPER certification desire
