POSITION SUMMARY:

As a member of our Environmental Services team, you would be responsible for performing day-to-day environmental services duties in and around the hospital in order to maintain a neat, sanitary and safe environment. But our work isn't just about cleaning. We set the stage for healing with our sparkling facilities and compassionate service. This is the kind of work that takes a big heart for service and for supporting NMC's mission to improve health in our community. Additionally, CNACC – the certificate in Non-Acute Care Cleaning Training Program (provided by organization) offers frontline cleaning and disinfection technician an educational program that is backed by the AHA that will prepare them to break the chain of infection, contribute to ensuring positive patient outcomes and provide value through evidence-based training.

Evening shift - full-time position(s) available.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and experience:
- High school graduate or equivalent desired
- Prior housekeeping a plus
Licenses and certifications (Required within one year of hire)
- Completion of Certified Health Care Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) training (provided by organization)
Knowledge and skills:
- Ability and desire to provide excellent customer service to all customers including others on the environmental services team, employees throughout the facility and external customers.
- Ability and willingness to follow written and oral instructions.
- Quality and speed needed for this position.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds or more, stoop, bend, stand and walk for an 8-hour shift or longer. Will also need to climb ladders and clean window.
