Epic Certified Professional Billing (PB) ConsultantThe Epic Certified Professional Billing (PB) Consultant / SME will implement best practices at client locations. This consulting role will provide subject matter expertise to clients in all areas of the healthcare revenue cycle.
Projects include, but are not limited to: Revenue cycle assessments, Workflow/Revenue cycle process improvement, alignment of processes with technology / redesign.
Required:
- 3+ years of Epic Professional Billing experience
- Epic PB Certification
- Strong workflow experience
- Bachelor's degree; or one to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of experience in Healthcare revenue cycle required
- Experience working as for a healthcare revenue cycle consulting, outsourcing or product offering vendor.
- Expert in MS Word and Excel and Visio required, expert in Outlook and PowerPoint preferred
- Experience and comfort working at all levels of a health care organization. Ability to probe, analyze, synthesize and articulate complex subject matter so it can be easily understood
- In-depth knowledge of the complete healthcare revenue cycle
- Proficient personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of hospital and/or Practice based IT systems
- Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule
- Ability to travel
