Midwest Veterinary Dental Service is looking for their next team member for Equine Client relations & Referral Coordinator

Location and hours: Must be available days and hours listed below.

Monday-Thursday 7:30-4:30
Friday 8-12 (option to work from home)
We are closed on all holidays

Job Details:
1.Schedule appointments/procedures for our 4 amazing equine veterinarians
2.Compile & maintain records on client & patient accounts
3.Process client payments
4.Confirm appointments with clients via call and text
5.Communicate messages with doctors/clients via call and text
6.Communicate with ambulatory appointments/doctor status
7.Emails Communication:client requests, prescription requests from Online store
8.Referral Correspondence: organize referral information & coordinate with doctors on treatment plansand scheduling of referral appointments
9.Email surgery reports to referring doctors
10.Admit & discharge equine surgery patients
11.Prepare all surgery documents and consent forms for equine surgeries in advance
12.Scan and attach any post surgery documents
13.Process & send completed Coggins tests to clients
14.Organize labs received into patient files & communicate results with doctors
15.Schedule intern and extern requests for veterinary students as needed
16.Client hospitality: stock/clean coffee area & bake frozen cookies , make sure clients waiting for patients are comfortable
17.May need to get a stall ready/clean stalls on high patient volume days

Ideal Candidates: (Could also be for a CVT looking for an office position)

• Must have excellent communication, customer service & organizational skills
• Must have good computer skills, especially Gmail, Google Drive & Calendar.
• Must have general knowledge/experience with horse

PAY/BENEFITS
Hourly pay based on experience
