Estimating Coordinator

In addition to strong relationships with several well-respected institutions across various sectors in the greater Boston Area, South Coast Improvement has 85% repeat business with some of the largest providers of Senior Living and Affordable housing along the East Coast.

This position is based in our Marion, MA headquarters.

Estimating Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Support the Estimating Department
• Serve as a subcontractor liaison proactively encouraging bid participation and answering questions about the projects on the phone and over email.
• Make 80-90 outbound calls to subcontractors per day
• Develop potential subcontractor list and track their participation.
• Learn Planswift to assist with takeoffs, learn to read plans and learn SCI filing systems
• Utilize Building Connected to facilitate subcontractor participation.
• Utilize Procore for subcontractor bid management.
• Attend subcontractor walk-throughs as requested.
• Assist with proposals and presentations.
• Assist with project management as needed
• Exceptional teamwork - role and responsibilities are subject to evolvement and can be fluid – flexibility within and across departments is key

Estimating Coordinator Qualifications:

• Able to work independently with solid decision making skills.
• Must be well organized and able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong software skills to include MS Office and Adobe Acrobat
• Construction Industry experience a plus

Estimating Coordinator Compensation

• Salary range $40,000-$52,000
