Our continued growth has created an immediate need for an Estimator located in Albany, NY.
- Review consultant and cost-plus estimates
- Assist vendors with payment submissions
- Provide payment information to client agencies
- Support the Contract Payment Audit Group
- Prepare and maintain Project Level Estimates through various stages of a project, representing the total project scope
- Develop estimates for the comparison to bids received
- Perform site investigations
- Attend required project and staff meetings
- Develop estimates for Value Engineering change proposal reviews
- Potential travel occasionally for meetings/training
- Minimum (2) years of experience as a project cost reviewer
- Experience tracking costs
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Excel and Outlook programs
- Ability to attend job meetings and prepare accurate minutes, draft correspondence for review, create simple calculating spreadsheets and print out reports as required
- Excellent telephone skills and be ability to implement office procedures
