Under the direction of the President of BPE, the Executive Director of Orthopedics, Urgent Care, Occupational Health and Primary Care is responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of Andrews Institute Orthopedic practices, Urgent Care Clinics at BMP9 and BMP Airport and Occupational Health including management of the profit and loss statement for the business, as well as the related resources associated with the practice's operation. The Executive Director is responsible for planning, organizing and directing physician practice operations. In this capacity, this position carries responsibility for integrating the strategic plan of the organization within the operations. This position provides management oversight for the development of high quality, cost effective and integrated clinical programs within the practice. This position supports the CMO of primary care and works in conjunction with the CMO as a liaison with payers to facilitate deliverables for providing quality care and realizing payer incentives and penalty avoidance. The executive director assists management in the development of operational and financial objectives. He/she establishes, manages, and monitors policies and procedures for the division that ensures the maximization of productivity and profitability and ensures compliance with all relevant area's of Regulatory/Corporate compliance. The executive director will provide leadership to maximize opportunities locally, regionally and nationally with the physically active community to promote the services of the Andrews Institute, Baptist Medical Group and Baptist Health Care. The management portfolio held by this leader is notably diverse, with corresponding broad organizational implications and complexity, characterized by substantial scope of responsibility in this respect. The person in this position works under general supervision, is responsible for various shifts, may be subject to over 40 hours per week and/or callback as required, and may also be required to remain on campus immediately before, during, and after severe weather and/or disasters.

Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Health Care Administration or Business Administration
  • Five or more years senior practice experience is required preferably in the Primary Care.
  • Certified by the American Academy of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE) or obtained within 2 years employment/transfer.
  • Knowledge of human resource management; program development; fiscal management
  • skills; and familiarity with regulatory and accrediting agency standards.
