Duties:


Under the direction of the Facilities Manager, responsible for ensuring all facilities are welcoming and safe for guests, members and employees. Responsible for cost savings, maintenance, and enhancing operational efficiency. Manages the Record Retention, RPM replenishment, Building Security and special projects based on the Credit Union needs.


  • Ensures the Credit Union's buildings, grounds and equipment are clean, safe and properly maintained by performing general and light maintenance (e.g., painting, plumbing, lighting, etc.) as well as, routine maintenance of facility grounds (e.g., snow/ice removal, trash removal, window washing, etc.) Assists with maintenance of internal offices and furnishings, which includes moving and assembling office furniture and other related tasks;
  • Recommends and performs routine repairs/maintenance of buildings and equipment. Supports vendors to ensure that they are able to complete their work as outlined in the work order or contract. Serves as the liaison with vendors;
  • Assists with space planning from a support and execution standpoint (e.g., furniture moves, cable runs, etc.);
  • Supports the records retention program (e.g., storage, retrieval, removal, destruction) by assisting the records vendor with on-site visits and assisting in the transport and destruction of sensitive documents in compliance with Credit Union safety and confidentiality protocol;
  • Assists with supply orders, ensuring accurate receipt of orders and replenishment of forms. Assists in determining appropriate supply levels (e.g., paper towels/tissue, soaps/hand sanitizer, cleaning supplies) and ensuring delivery to branches;
  • Responds to Supply email requests in a timely manner in the absence of the Facilities Manager;
  • Provides support to the Information Technology Team with branch visits as needed;
  • Completes training as assigned, including any safety-related training;
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements:


High School graduate or equivalent. 2-year technical degree or accredited apprenticeship program or the equivalent in building maintenance experience is preferred. Experience working safely with basic mechanic's hand and power tools. General knowledge of mechanical systems, plumbing and electrical repair. Ability to resolve maintenance problems quickly and efficiently. Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize requests that have direct operational/member impact. Strong interpersonal/communication and teamwork skills. Experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications including Word and Microsoft E-Mail. Ability to have schedule flexibility to accommodate occasional "off hours" to insure timely branch/office openings and operations, particularly during inclement weather. Valid driver's license.


Schedule:


Full-Time: 40 Hours.

Schedule flexibility required to accommodate departmental needs.
