Facilities Coordinator
In this role, you will be responsible for facilities management. You will Assist in Managing facilities within Jacksonville FL, reporting to the Facilities Manager on his/her duties. Support space allocations or relocations to meet organizational growth.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Managing facilities within Richardson, TX, reporting to Facilities Manager on his/her duties.
- Support space allocations or relocations to meet organizational growth.
- Support managing to a high level of performance in all areas of office services, shipping and receiving, food and beverage, safety & security, EH&S, waste management and operations/maintenance.
- Support addressing building emergencies such as plumbing, HVAC, Mechanical systems, building health, etc…
- Support on preventive maintenance schedules for all building equipment, including facilities related equipment in computer rooms.
- Assist in implementing and monitoring corporate safety programs including EH&S, emergency response and evacuation planning.
- Other Facility/Security related items as they arise and pertain to the building.
- Execution of predictive and preventative maintenance programs.
- Assist to site remains compliant with all Genpact policies and procedures.
- Support direct leadership to ensure employees work is compliant with all safety codes, follows the objectives, physical requirements, parameters, and constraints of the project, including not only the user's functional needs but also health and safety, operation, maintenance, energy efficiency, quality standards, contextual issues, and aesthetics.
- Works closely with other departments and administration
- Support direct leadership, to elaborate Monthly Seats Utilization Report
- Support direct leadership, to keep Vendors’ and Assets’ data base updated;
Qualifications
- Technician Degree (electrician or mechanic) or incomplete BS/BA degree in related discipline.
- BS/BA degree in related discipline is a plus
- Experience:
- Typically requires a minimum of five (5) years of related experience and/or combination of experience and education/training.
- At least two (2) years of related experience working in a facility.
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Team player, hands on and ager to learn and continue career in Facilities
- Proper handling and management of hazardous waste
- Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Used to maintain effective relationships with widely diverse groups, including individuals at all levels both within and outside the organization
- Commit to organizational or team objectives and company policies.
- Has good general knowledge of other related disciplines.
- Intermediate/ Advance knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel Software
JOB COMPLEXITY:
- Works on problems of diverse scope, with leadership coach/ acknowledgement
- Execute defined work and keep I&L leadership informed about their status;
- Non planned/expected urgent issue/request, demand immediate action, but direct I&L leadership should be immediately informed to take the lead defining solution. Execution to be taken, before direct leader be informed, only if he/she is previously trained to do it.
