Job Summary: Windham High School Fine Arts Department is looking for a Family Consumer Science Teacher to teach courses, such as Foods, Nutrition, Interior Design, Parenting, and Fashion. Responsibilities are to plan and prepare a program of study to meet the needs and interests of the students. Establish and communicate clear learning objectives. Develop age-appropriate instructional lessons to achieve the Family Consumer Science curriculum goals.Encourage students to express their own personalities and thoughts through the creative process. Assess and evaluate students performance on a regular basis. Must have strong content background knowledge, be able to build and maintain strong relations with students, be on the cutting edge of strong instructional strategies, and be able to collaborate with colleagues.
