FINANCIAL ANALYST NEEDED AT STRADIS HEALTHCARE

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Financial Analyst will support the Sr. Manager - Finance and play a critical role in the coordination and execution of business planning, forecasting, and other financial requirements across the team. The Senior Analyst is expected to provide financial perspectives, detailed analysis of key financial metrics and analysis to lead and evaluation the financial strategies of the operational departments supported. This position will be responsible for the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting process for the assigned stand-alone business. They will also be responsible for reviewing and compiling monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and submissions for the Corporate Finance team. Assist in the creation of new category-based P&L reporting structure. This will include working closely with Controllership, Finance, and Operations teams. The individual must possess excellent analytical and communications skills and be able to work with and support leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare reports for Actuals, Forecasts, and Budgets along with related analysis and management schedules.
  • Prepare daily sales reports, manage headcount reporting and analyze T&E.
  • Prepare consolidated analysis of AR and Inventory reserve analysis.
  • Update and maintain monthly reports used to analyze the financial results of the stand-alone business and prepare monthly variance commentary to understand the actual and projected results of the business. Identify and communicate potential risks and opportunities within the business.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly financial presentations to senior management.
  • Participate in the annual budget process to help set targets, manage financial projections and prepare year-over-year variance analyzes to ensure overall reasonableness of budget assumptions. Prepare analyses of year-over-year sales and operating income growth trends.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with finance team members within the business as well as throughout the Stradis organization.
  • SOX control execution may be required from time to time
  • Participates in special projects and performs other ad hoc duties as requested.

KNOWLEDGE:

Advanced intermediate level professional; knowledge within own discipline and developing basic knowledge of organization, processes and customers. Good judgment, sound analytical ability, evaluation, originality and ingenuity required to perform tasks. Frequently apply the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of a particular field. Apply company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of routine and non-routine issues.

COMPLEXITY:

Work on problems of moderate scope and impact where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Analyze possible solutions using standard procedures to solve a range of straightforward problems; may recommend solutions to business challenges. Demonstrate good judgment within defined procedures and practices for obtaining solutions. Build productive internal/external working relationships.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

Typically, 3 to 5 or more years of increasing responsibility in terms of any applicable professional experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline is required.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Strong accounting and financial knowledge including financial budgeting, reporting, policies and procedures and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Independent worker, self-starter
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel, proficient with Microsoft Suite
  • Experience with databases and Oracle products such as Planning and HFM
  • Strong ability to understand and communicate complex financial concepts
  • Netsuite, Alteryx, Power BI experience preferred

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
