JOB TITLE: Finance Business Partner, Manager – Services & Solutions

BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY:

The Finance Business Partner, Manager – Services & Solutions is responsible for creating and maintaining a strong partnership between finance and the service and solutions team and driving value for the organization.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serves as the primary finance partner for the solutions team.

• Partner with solutions team and commercial FP&A team on forecasting and analysis of revenue of customers with solutions.

• Analyze profitability of solution customers.

• Identify trends within solutions business through customer analysis as well as expense analysis.

• Forecast and track daily and weekly reporting on volume forecasts, workload and productivity of service team.

• Owns budget and forecasting for solution expenses.

• Provide direction during the month and quarterly close processes including reviewing variance analysis and exception reports and provide recommendations.

• Delivers analysis and insights that enhance decision making and create value for the organization.

• Collaborates cross functionally with sales, operations, product management, and other finance functions to solve challenges for internal and external customers.

• Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC’s vision and unity of purpose.

• Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required.
  

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, business, or equivalent

• Minimum of 6 years of related experience required

• Proven track record of providing strong finance partnership
  

SKILLS:

• In depth knowledge of financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting is required

• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills

• Excellent oral and written communication skills are also required, and the ability to prepare and present concise and persuasive reports and presentations

• Ability to use multiple software packages to enhance efficiency, efficacy and confidence of results

• Comfortable delivering dissenting opinions supported by facts in a respectful manner

• In depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements
  

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel up to 5% of the time may be required

Compensation starting at $75590 – $113700 / year and up dependent on candidate location and experience
