Phillips County Health Systems is a growing 25-bed Critical Access Care Hospital. We are eager to announce an open position for a Full-time Financial Controller to join our team!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will assist in various roles within the financial functions of our Health Systems. Provide support with projects under CFO, CEO, and COO.

• Manage and develop financial statements

• Provide financial assistance to the annual budgetary and strategic planning process.

• Responsible for the preparation/filing of all tax and financial regulatory reports.

• Assist in performing capital financing functions and in the development of options.

• May be required to attend and/or participate in committees or meetings requiring specific finance expertise.

• Attendance at regional/state meetings to ensure staying current in the chosen field may be required.

• Complete and distribute budget and other financial reports to department heads in a timely fashion.

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS**

• Accounting/Financial experience or equivalent education

** To be knowledgeable of general accounting principles*
**
** Strong organizational skills*
**
** Well-trained in Excel, Word and PowerPoint software*
**
** Experience in general accounting processes for critical access hospitals (CAHs) (preferred)*
