Family Intervention Specialist - Full Time/generous Benefits

FIS Program - Lee County

Position Summary:

Employee is responsible for providing services to individuals and families referred by the child welfare agencies.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors in social or behavioral health, or human services field preferred.
One year of experience working with substance involved individuals/families, as well as knowledge of child abuse/neglect issues.
Requires valid Florida driver's license, and able to provide services in a community setting.
Good computer skills are required, as staff member will document an electronic medical record.
Knowledge and personal experience with recovery preferred.
Knowledge of child welfare system and motivational interviewing is preferred.

Teleservices is a key service delivery means at CBHC, and all employees play a crucial role in promoting telehealth as a convenient, accessible, cost-effective option for patients. The ideal candidate for this position will be technology proficient, have the ability to troubleshoot minor technical difficulties, have experience with video- conferencing and/or virtual telemedicine softwares, proficiency with Electronic Health Records, and have the ability to navigate comfortably through multiple technology platforms. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and remotely, and will be able to provide instructions and coaching to patients engaging in services via Telehealth.
