Job description
Focus: HOPE's programs deliver workforce development training and education, early childhood education and asset-based community development work. These programs aim to create a pipeline of opportunity from cradle to post-secondary education. This VISTA will support the Volunteer Department at Focus: HOPE both in-person and virtually. The Volunteer Department manages volunteerism for Food for Seniors, a program which supplies monthly food to 42,000 seniors monthly in Detroit and it's surrounding areas. Member Duties : This VISTA will be responsible for data collection and data entry; support volunteer recruitment and engagement events, and other volunteer engagement activities to assist the Volunteer Department with the Food Program at Focus: HOPE.
