Full-Time Equipment Operator
Starting Rate: $19.50 an hour for day shift with a $1.50 an hour shift differential for 2 nd and 3 rd shift. In addition, we have a $1.00/ hour attendance bonus.
Work Hours: We have lots of working options to accommodate your lifestyle! Chose from days, afternoons or nights; 8-hour and 10-hour shifts.
Location: We are located at 5550 West 74 th St Indianapolis, IN 46268.
As an Equipment Operator, you will:
- Assist in loading and unloading trailers
- Operate various equipment (Forklifts, Cherry Picker, etc.)
- Palletizing boxes in preparation for distribution
- Receive training to help advance your career
Qualifications:
- Must be skilled in handling controls for starting, stopping, backings, and driving fork lift or clamp truck through aisles in building, up and down ramps, and in and out of railroad cars, trucks, etc.; and, for lifting, lowering, and tilting forks by moving hands, arms, feet, and legs to operate controls.
- Must be able to recognize whether the fork lift truck is able to lift the load and whether the load is properly balanced.
- Ability to stand for the entire duration of your shift
