Hi-lo Operator Shift: 3rd # of Positions: 3
Department: Thermobond
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must demonstrate the mechanical ability to perform all required preventative maintenance on the lifts along with filing out the proper checklist for the lift
- Suppling line with components to run, Emptying scrap containers
- Will be responsible for moving WIP and Finished Goods from the line to storage areas and ensuring that they are handled properly and put in the correct place
- Must be willing and able to work the hours needed including overtime
- Must assist on the line when needed and assist in changeovers at the line
- Is responsible for other duties as assigned by the leader
- Scanning of completed production into inventory
ELIGIBILITY/CRITERIA QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to complete Powered Industrial Truck training, test and obtain license including proof of proper vision
- Basic computer skills required
- Working knowledge of plant layout
- Strong housekeeping / 5S standards
- Knowledge of FIFO preferred
- Self-Driven
- High attention to detail and able to prioritize tasks quickly
- Ability to learn and execute visual management program
- Must be capable of physically performing all essential job functions with reasonable accommodations
- Ability and desire to work all hours required – including but not limited to daily/weekend overtime
- If selected, candidate must remain in new role for minimum of 6 months before pursuing other hourly production positions
