Job description
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) helps the General Manager to ensure that day to day business operations run smoothly. Assistant general managers oversee all hotel employees. With the help--and final say from the general manager--the assistant manager handles all employee issues and disputes, deals with accounting issues and invoices and supervises all employee hiring and layoffs. When the general manager is in a meeting with the CEO or other clients, the assistant manager acts as the manager and responds professionally and helpfully to all employee and guest issues.

Days - Wednesday thru Sunday 40 HOURS a week.
The assistant general manager oversees or will work in all departments of the hotel, like housekeeping, Laundry, front desk, Breakfast buffet and Maintenance, cleaning, mopping, anything required to run day to day operations and reports to the general manager if any employee or department is array in any way.
- Greet and register guests
- Inspect the grounds, public areas and guest rooms for appearance and cleanliness
- Ensure company standards for housekeeping, decor and guest services are met
- Answer guest questions about hotel services and policies
- Interview, hire, train and terminate staff
- Inspect Rooms, and helps General Manager in Day to Day Operations.
- Monitor staff performance, ensuring the hotel is running well and guests are happy
- Coordinate front-office and back-office activities and resolve any problems
- Must be available and willing to work in any department of the hotel and be flexible for any hours.
- Will be answering all the medallia, Respond to any social media OTA comments, Customer Care.
- Will be in charge of making Schedule
- Ordering for Breakfast, Guest Supply Inventory
- Will be checking leads on Hotel Planner, CVENT, NEXUS.
- Will be responsible for the entire hotel when GM have a day off.
- Making Sure the Deep Cleaning and Preventative Programs are in place
- Making sure all employees are doing required Best Western University Online Classes.
- Balances the cash deposits with safe log.
- Check The OTA reservations and taking ADVANCE DEPOSIT for all OTA reservations if the reservations are not GUEST PAY!
- Making Sure the Payroll hours are in control.
- Making sure the customer service is # 1 and the same culture is implemented with all employees!

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
