Overview:
Texas Physical Therapy Specialists, is a member of the Confluent Health family of physical therapy and occupational therapy companies. We are looking for a Front Desk Medical Receptionist (Care Coordinator) to join our Spurs Lane team where we work alongside Sports Medicine Associates of San Antonio (SMASA), the city’s top orthopedic surgeons and sports medicine physicians.
As a large, busy clinic, we serve primarily a sports population including high school, university and professional sports, and host one of the few Sports Residencies in San Antonio. The sports population includes the San Antonio Spurs, San Antonio FC, the University of Texas at San Antonio, St. Mary's University, Schreiner University, Trinity University, Texas A&M University - San Antonio, San Antonio Athenians, San Antonio Warriors, Austin Sound and San Antonio Rugby.

Salary: $15-17.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Pleasantly answer phones, schedule patients and direct patients and others to the appropriate area or person.
- Perform routine administrative duties in a timely manner such insurance verification, data entry and collection of co-payments.
- Able to accurately register patients according to company policy and procedures and ensure required forms are completed and signed by patients.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required.
- MS Office, basic office support skills (telephone, filing, data entry) and basic math skills.
- Excellent telephone etiquette, pleasant personality and customer service skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role desired, but not required.
