Job description

Responsibilities:

• Answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls
• Receive and direct clients and/or visitors
• General clerical duties including copying, faxing and mailing
• Schedule and coordinate client appointments
• Assist client check in/out coordinating and facilitating accurate client appointment scheduling through electronic or manual systems, schedule follow up appointments, update and ensure accurate client schedules and appointments are in the EHR system.
• Obtain and verify client demographic information and insurance information
• Assist in collecting copayments, deductibles and/or co-insurance

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, Associates (preferred)
• Two years recent experience in healthcare (preferred)
• Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
• Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
