Job description

Benson Fence Company, a family owned and operated chain link and iron fence company is now hiring for a full time Front Office Assistant.

Responsibilities include:

• Answer incoming phone calls from customers, clients, vendors and suppliers
• Greet and provide customer service assistance to walk in customers, clients, vendors and suppliers
• Estimate material sales for customers and clients over phone, computer and in person
• Support Outside Sales and Estimating Staff with fielding customer inquiries and scheduling appointments.
• Create shop drawings for gates, handrails, kennels, etc.
• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable responsibilities
• Tally weekly timesheets for payroll processing

Requirements:

• 2+ years of current front office experience in the construction or related field, fence experience highly preferred
• Customer service experience, both in person and over the phone
• Familiarity with construction job costing or estimating preferred
• Strong math, counting and measurement skills.
• Computer proficiency, QuickBooks experience a plus
• Experience with timekeeping and prevailing wage a plus
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
• Must be ability to work a Monday through Friday set schedule but we offer the flexibility of setting your schedule to be 6-8 hours a day, 30-40 hours per week during our hours of operation (8am to 4:30pm M-F)

Starting pay will range depending on experience between $20 - $30 / hour
