Full-Time Design Consultant at SC Home Charlotte
Job description
Do you have an eye for interior design, passion for great conversation, desire to work around beautiful products? Bring your talent to SC Home Charlotte as a Design Consultant. Our Design Consultants are paid an hourly wage plus commission with monthly invoicing incentives and bonus opportunities throughout the year.
What you do:
- Meet sales goals
- Execute your client’s vision and provide leadership in design projects
- Assist in qualifying and identifying client needs, layouts, and presentations
- Conduct house calls
- Provide updates to clients on a regular basis, follow through after delivery, and provide excellence in service
What you bring:
- Ability and aptitude to sell luxury products.
- Knowledge of the design industry including knowledge of fabrics and applications and general design practices is preferred
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Good computer skills and ability to use technical equipment including knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word required with POS and space planning software experience preferred.
- Ability to work retail hours including frequent weekend hours and additional hours during special events.
