Bolton & Menk is growing, and we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced GIS Specialist to join our team. This position can be based out of Raleigh, Charlotte or Myrtle Beach locations. Bolton & Menk is a consulting engineer firm with over 70 years of experience serving the Upper Midwest and Southeast region.

In this role, you would provide expertise on a wide variety of GIS related projects for both internal and external clients. The position will primarily be responsible for data analysis, advanced map development and configuration of web-based GIS solutions. As an Esri Business Partner, Bolton & Menk leverages the latest GIS software technology and methods for delivering cutting edge results.

Education and Experience:

• College degree in Geography, Computer Science or GIS related field from an accredited college or university
• 3 to 5 years of progressive GIS experience preferred
• Extensive experience with ESRI software, specifically ESRI ArcGIS Pro v2.x
• Demonstrated experience with Geoprocessing within the ArcGIS environment
• Experience configuring and managing ArcGIS Online/Enterprise Maps and Apps
• Experience with high-accuracy GPS data collections
• Knowledge of GIS as it relates to land development,local government, public works, planning, civil engineering, and transportation
• Ability to work within a team atmosphere
• Must possess a valid drivers license. Regional travel may be required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in developing automation within the ArcGIS environment using scripting languages such as Python
• Experience with CAD products including AutoDesk Map or Civil 3D
• Ability to communicate and promote geospatial solutions amongst others
• Desire and ability to remote-pilot Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS)
